InterQuest Communications is Awarded Preferred Vendor Status by Post Properties for Delivering Broadband Internet Services
Interquest continues to deepen operations in 7 western states
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON. (JUNE 20 , 2002) - InterQuest Communications, a leading provider of broadband Internet services to the multi-family real estate industry, and Post Properties, one of the premier multifamily development and management companies in the US today announced that it has signed a contract awarding Interquest Preferred Vendor status for broadband services in eighteen of their luxury properties located in Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, and Pasadena. The contract comes after a successful six-month trial period in which Interquest was required to demonstrate its ability to deploy and manage a high level of customer care and service in its broadband service offering.
InterQuest has successfully deployed its site-based high-speed Ethernet and DSL services in over 100 multi-family communities in seven western states owned and operated by some of the nation's largest property management firms since September when it acquired assets of several defunct service providers. "We are very pleased with Post's decision to award the contract to Interquest. We knew they were one of the most demanding property management companies in the country and if we could please their management team we were doing things right," stated Glenn Meyer, Interquest CEO. "We look forward to growing our relationship with Post and continuing to work with them in more markets." He added.
"The road is littered with "defunct" multifamily broadband providers. When ours went to dot com heaven a year ago, we had an existing customer base that was unhappy with the quality of service they had previously received, but was hooked on high-speed and wanted us to find an alternative. Interquest stepped in to fill this void, and the service is now reliable, fast and secure," stated Carl Bonner, Vice President MIS at Post Properties.
"We knew from day-one that in order to build this company on the schedule we envisioned, we were going have to differentiate ourselves in three ways; build a technology foundation comprised of a solution superior to cable and CO based DSL, make it as reliable as electric or water utilities, and build a team dedicated and trained to deliver excellent service. If our subscriber take rates and feedback from clients and customers are any indication, we are well on our way to realizing these objectives," stated Doug Woods, Interquest COO.
